Two weeks down…

January 20th, 2010 by doug

Today Analeigh turned two weeks old and she is doing great. She basically eats, poops and sleeps, which I guess is all we can ask from a newborn. Marissa is recovering at record pace (much better than her first c-section) and we are very thankful for the good health and laid back baby. Marissa’s parents are here this week, and we have enjoyed spending time with them. Avalyn has loved having Nanny and Pappy here, and is proud to show off her new baby sister. Later this week we start the process of making Analeigh an American, so hopefully that process will go smoothly. School is rolling along, and I’m trying to keep up with homework amidst new baby, three-year-old issues, family visits, and general living stuff. This weekend we are taking Marissa’s parents to the beach, and we are looking forward to relaxing for a couple days. Here are some pictures from their visit…

Here’s Pappy checking out grandbaby #2

Two sleepy girls…

Marissa’s parents brought blueberry muffin mix from the US (we can’t get the kind with real blueberries and they don’t grow them here) so on Saturday we had a picnic in the back yard.

Here is a closeup of Analeigh…one day we’ll get a picture with her eyes open :-)
