   Avalyn – you did awesome I’m so proud of you.

   Ah Marissa – just seems like yesterday when you, Nicole and Meredith were holding hands in a circle singing, “Ring Around the Rosy.” Good thing I had Nicole when I was 12 years old, otherwise this would make me feel old

   Hi! We haven’t met (I don’t think…unless I’ve taught Avalyn in SojournKids, which is possible), but I’m a member of Sojourn. I found your blog on Sojourn’s website today and I’ve read every word. Thanks for sharing about your new life in CR! I’m praying that God would help you to understand the language and culture so that you can serve the people there. Looking forward to keeping up with the blog! PS- I lived and worked in an orphanage in Mexico for a while and some of the kids sang “El Burrito de Belen”…seeing the kids sing it brings back great memories.
